Job Title : Sales Consultant

This is fantastic opportunity for a passionate and commercially driven professional to promote our world-class courses and help our prospective students learn English.

As Sales Consultant you are responsible for providing personalized course advice that will work for the prospective student and which will result in the sales of the contract, as well as the nurturing and follow up of your current students.

Reporting to the Centre Director, your main aim is to meet the monthly sales projection targets, by booking and holding sales appointments and signing the expected number of contracts. The key to this role is balancing your drive to produce exceptional sales results with your ability to provide personalised and thoughtful levels of service so as to manage each student’s expectations. You will need to be a master of your own time, as you will be expected to follow up with your prospects and old contacts, book consultations, resolve no-show or cancelled appointments, hold after sales sessions to general renewals and referrals, manage issues and process contracts. Your job will require excellent presentations skills both face to face as well as a confident telephone manner.

Reports To : Center Director

Essential duties and responsibilities

Includes the following:

  • Meet monthly sales targets, as set by the Centre Director
  • Ensure all KPIs are met that concern Sales, Student support and care
  • Manage your diary ensuring that all necessary phone calls and appointments are carried out on time
  • Provide reports relating to your activity and sales progress to Centre Director
  • Update the sales CRM in and accurate and reliable manner to ensure good contact management
  • Attend meetings with Sales and Service team
  • Act as a liaison between Student and the Service team
  • Deal with any issues or problems that may arise and ensure these are addressed to student’s satisfaction
  • Keeping abreast of all new products or changes related to the courses. Attending any training sessions assigned to you as part of your learning and development

Key tasks include:

· Generate leads as per expected KPIs

· Book the correct amount of first appointments so as to ensure expected contracts closing ratio

· Book second appointments as necessary to complete sales cycle

· Book renewal appointments

· Hold regular reviews with current students assuring they are satisfied with their course

· Hold systematic first lesson, First encounter, End of level and centre event interviews with your clients in accordance with the Client Fidelity Plan

· Ensure contracts are processed in a correct and timely manner

· Provide accurate and timely reports to Centre Director

· Compile data, statistics and make accurate sales forecasts

·  Participate in marketing activities for your centre, including trade fairs, prospecting, promotion stands

Technical skills and Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

  • Good level of English
  • Knowledge of MS office packages
  • Service orientated

Nice to have:

·                    University Degree

·                    Understanding of core sales principles: sales pipeline, forecasts, planning and techniques

·                    Understanding of or experience within English Language Teaching sector

·                    Professional sales qualification, or degree in Business/Marketing

·                    Fluent English

  • Direct Sales and telesales experience is preferred

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Meet assigned sales targets earlier in month so as to avoid rushed sales before month end
  • Juggle a high amount of phone calls as well as face to face meetings
  • Analyse each potential client’s needs and quickly adapt to these
  • Adapt to seasonality of sales and putting in place strategies to reduce peaks and troughs in activity
  • Manage multiple priorities and activities: meetings, reporting, administration, sales, customer care, phone calls
  • Balance sales and customer/educational service needs

Flexibility will be needed in order to meet client’s needs and availability; consultant team works to a shift plan to cover opening hours of center.
